Kings Mills Outdoor Resort Traffic Study
Gaurav served as the Traffic Engineer to analyze the impact of the proposed outdoor campground resort to be located north of Kingsview Drive along with a proposed extension of Kings Island Drive on the east side of Interstate 71 in Deerfield Township. The campground resorts consisted of 334 total guest sites including a combination of RV sites and various types of cabins. The Warren County Thoroughfare Plan included a potential future extension of Kings Island Drive from its existing terminus at Kingsview Drive to Columbia Road. Capacity and queuing analyses were performed at the nearby study area intersections. The recommendation from this study included potential alternate roadway and traffic control improvements.
